LAVROC ANGELES CREST HIGHWAY RIDE

Riders: Todd & Sue, Mike & Gina, George O. & Patti, Xavier, Jesus, Daryl, Eric, George L., Diesel, Paul, Sergio, Ray, Dave, Chris, and new guy Aaron.

We met for breakfast at Hill Street Cafe in La Cañada at the base of the Angeles Crest Highway. We were 15 bikes and 18 people, so we all just scattered around the restaurant. After a hearty meal we headed up the to the top of the Crest and got there quickly. We continued down Little Tujuna and stopped at that little coffee shop right past the bridge... I am blanking out on the name. We quickly continued down to Little Rock and went through Vincent and stopped in Acton at the 49er Bar. After a couple of beers we headed up to the Big Oaks Cafe for some more refreshments and a little pow wow under the misters. Chris left the group at that time and continued to catch the freeway and head home alone. So now we were down to 14 motorcycles. We stopped to gas up in Santa Clarita where some more people took off. I believe it was Mike, Dave, Sergio, Diesel and Ray. After that we headed to Granada Hills, Xavier's house, for a killer barbecue.

I want to thank Xavier for his hospitality and for the great eating. A few of us jumped into the pool for some fun. It was a short ride but definitely very fun.
